blogging about talking about blogging
so... when I was down at the Emergent convention some weeks ago, I skipped the Bloggers lunch. Someone asked me why and I said something like: Blogging is self-referential enough, without getting together and talking about it.
Last night, we talked about it.
We do this Man thing at the Horse Brass on Mondays (I remember when it would be us and a bunch of 50 year old chain smokers in there... but that was before Blue Like Jazz and all the hipsters started showing up... hey, that sounded like an indie music comment!). Anyway, before everyone showed up (about 8 or 9 last night) there were five of us sitting around- four with blogs and 1 without- and us trying totalk DAN into doing a dang blog. The guy is really insightful and has a ton of stories...
So, yeah- it did get to the point where we had to say, "Okay, no more talking about the blogs" (Hey! That would make a great blog entry! Oooh- I am totally gonna blog this! etc.)
But just for the record... I blogged it first.

LOL! Yeah, I have heard that if you're going through life and thinking, "This would make a great blog!" then you probably have a blogging addiction! I have on more than one occasion experienced something unusual with my mother and asked her, "You're going to blog about this, aren't you?"
