so I tried to post this to the wikipedia article on the Emerging Church, but got edited out as too POV (point of view)... but it's now up on Next Wave.

(I love that Charlie guy who runs next wave. He publishes a lot of my stuff. I send jive to the Ooze and at one point would see it posted 6 weeks later. Now- never. In fact, they so rarely add new articles, it's a little frustrating, I must say. Ginkworld does a lot of my stuff as well- including reruns! It seems like every other week one of my older articles is there...)

Anyway, back to what I was saying. The article is my little contibution to the "conversation" as we are wont to call this emerging thing. Just what is an "emergent" church?

I'm a little worried- so far the response has been positive, but still... it's a touchy subject and when it comes right down to it, I'm really (de facto) saying to a lot of folks, "Emergent? Nah..."
