Thanks— this link helped!
It’s easy to get irked by the condescension, personal attacks, rudeness, etc. that pass for discourse at some blogs discussing/dismissing emergent church. Emergent as a conversation obviously breaks down when folks no longer desire to listen, but only want to talk. As an aside, http://jesuscreed.blogspot.com shows that more “generous” spirit as it looks at emergent and Carson’s new book.
