apparently, pt 2.
I guess I'm persecuting the church.
I had no idea.
I'm also, apparently, unqualified to be a pastor.
crap.
I wish I had known...
Oh, well, too late to stop now!
Here's a comment left on another post on my blog.
good times, good times...
THis sounds more like the ant-Church {Editor's note: pretty sure they meant "anti-church", not "ant-church". Many of us are short, but come on!] to me. I'm pretty sure the Church is the Temple of God which contains His Word---That what makes it up is the preaching of the truth of Scripture, and UNITY IS IN THE TRUTH! The problem for postmoderns is that they don't understand that the damned are made up of unbelievers AND "believers" who replace God's message with their own. Love is re-defined to mean something more sentimental and uncritical, unity is placed in this feeling/commitment toward one another irregardless of the truth, etc.
I'm sure from what I've read in your posts, you will be furious with what is said, but you are leading people away from God, not to Him. You think that you are doing something new for Him, but you are persecuting the true Church by your very existence. As Christ declared, "A time will come when those who persecute you will do so thinking they are giving service to God." You have no fear of God and if you do not turn, which I suspect you won't, you will end up like the sons of Aaron, who in apathy disregarded the instruction of God on how to worship Him. The things you have stated evidence a lack of education in both the Scripture and theology. You are not qualified to lead. You are the blind leading the blind. This is not an attack, but a warning. This never ends well when someone places themselves as a leader and is not Biblically qualified to do so. May the Holy Spirit cause you to question and turn away from what you are doing, and if not, may He continue to send to you the children of the whore and cause the virgins to steer clear of you.
My wife mildly chastised me, saying : "You think it's funny!"
uh, yeah... sort of.
kinda sad too...

FUNNY?
Well, I laughed out loud. Thanks for sharing this, it made my day.
As one heretic to another...
Gratia vobis et pax,
DANG!!
Heretic #3, reporting for emerging duty! SIR!
(Haven't seen that kind of a rant since my "Christian Rock Debate" days in the 80's...)
You have to hand it to the guy/girl, there was no doubt some serious wordsmithing involved in that one. Not quite as fluid as I would have liked, but it might be in the running for huge comment of the day still.
"My name's Anonymous, and I'm not going to take this ant-church crap anymore!"
Tha was a great study break. Thanks anonymous!
Wow. I sense that 'anonymous' communitment to the church is more intellectual than anything, seeing the pattern of attending then planting time bombs on their way out. Conveniently for our unnamed friend, theology outside of practice tends to be quite self serving.
Hey...Here they go again...calling my son a heretic. This person really needed to vent. Does he/she realize what obvious message they are sending?
Actually, I feel this message is saying "good job, Bob." I need all the chuckles I can get right now...this provided me with my first of the day.
Wow, I'm not sure what to say. How are you persecuting the true church by your existance? Its easy to throw out complaints but where is the evidence? Sounds like this person doesn't know you or evergreen very well. I guess all we can do is to pray for this person to be blessed by God in any area that they are lacking.
