If you cried over every sadness in the world, you'd cry 24/7. You couldn't read the newspaper. When you cry over something in a movie, it's because it's touched some truth - you're really crying for all the related truths, personal and impersonal reflected in that cinematic moment. Something somewhere in some movie has probably made a lot of people cry in an indirect way for the tsunami victims.
Or was that not your handwriting and psyche? ;)
