Slice of Laodicea, everyone's favorite Christian conspiracy site (you too are most likely a part of a vast end times luciferian one world governement conspiracy!!!), has decided to turn its sights on Len Sweet.
Now, Len is a really, really nice guy.
And these guys tend to play rough.
I'm going out of town for a week, so who knows about internet access... but you should all check in, and if you feel so inclined, stick up for Len a bit, would you?

why? oh whyyyyy, did I read that drivel? why? WHY?
Where does it end? Once you begin to cry heresy multiple times per day(!) and declare Christian leaders and entire ministries apostate and maintain that the Bible can be easily distilled into black and white inflexible principles and that YOU can clearly discern the difference between the two so why can't everyone else (because they are clearly acting outside of God's principles...nice circular logic!)...
It's just sad and divisive and, of course, impossible to attack with scripture because only THEY have the key to correctly interpret the Bible.
That coupled with the attack on all things creative, artistic, and lighthearted, mixed with their own nasty, flippant parodies of the concepts they detest... Let's see, so God's truth needs to be taught in a completely sober, serious fashion, unless we're ridiculing concepts we disagree with...
And every new movement or evangelistic emphasis is an example of how watered down Christianity has become since the exalted days of Spurgeon and the hymn writers...the same glorious days when black footmen helped white masters get dressed for Sunday morning worship and when influenza was deadly punishment from God as a result of secret sin...
It exhausts me and disgusts me... so why do I keep reading? And why do I see so much of my own prejudice in their words?
