when truth gets funnier than fiction...
I've watched this video multiple times...
And while I'm convinced this guy is completely sincere, it still couldn't be funnier if he was just putting these english pastors on...
And that's the scary thing.
When you can't tell the difference between an actual promo video for an actual "Christian" product and a scene from The Office, something has gone really, really screwy.
You can click here and watch this, but I'm telling you... you are going to end up banging your head against the wall.
what is it?
Why, Salvation Challenge™ of course! The Evangelism boardgame! ("To witness to an unsaved loved one just ask...
Would you like to play a game?")
One of my favorite parts of this website is the line: As the salvation call was made “Jesus save me” you could hear a pin drop, as around 800 leaders from the Christian community were silent for the presentation.
Yeah... no duh.
Oh, my head...

The best part is the sticker on the forehead. Doesn't get any better than that.
And I thought Cranium was cool!
This can't be serious ?!? Naw, its a parody...right?
Scary is the word.
Wow, that is scary.
Seeking clarification here ...
Do you reckon this guy is saying that anyone who lands on the "Calvary square" and says "Jesus save me!" is, in fact, forgiven of all their sins and inherits the gift of eternal life? You know, they've effectively said the big "sinners prayer"? (The game developers might say something like - "The Bible says that anyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved!") Or is this just a board game? Please, please, please tell me that this is just a board game. 'Cos if he is saying that participating in this game has eternal consequences, well then, I'm ... utterly dumbfounded.
What do you think?
hey, the text says "anyone" so.....
I think he's having fun with them. "Would you like to be tickled?" Maybe that's a British expression, but it seems to me like a big joke, and the audience is in on it, too.
although: "The game clearly shows the way of salvation in such an easy way that people only have to add faith to the salvation call. Fascinating discussions arise as players land onto Preacher’s or King Solomon’s squares."
it's like making camp food -- just add water.
